Taylor Nelson

  • Senior, Political Science major

I am honored to receive an invitation to join Phi Beta Kappa. I will be graduating in the spring of 2023 with a degree in Political Science. I enjoyed my time at UWM, and I am thankful for the support and encouragement that I received from both the Political Science department and the German department.

During my time at UWM, I became politically active on and off campus. I served as Vice-Chair and Chair of the College Democrats at UWM and was a Field Operations intern for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. I spent my final Fall semester in Washington, D.C. where I interned at the Department of State in the office of the United States United Nations Ambassador. During that internship, I found my passion for multilateral affairs. After graduation, I plan to work in international relations both in the U.S. and abroad.
