Julia Aleksandra. Chrupek

  • Junior, Biochemistry major

I will be a junior this next school year. I am a first-generation, biochemistry major, and honors student. I am involved in undergraduate research in the psychology department. I gained lots of experience in the lab even though psychology is not my major. I plan to also venture out to gain experience in research in the chemistry department. I am looking to broaden my horizons in the chemistry field as I plan to study drug development, cancer research, or the chemistry behind food production in the future.

In my free time, I spend time with family and take care of my horse. I also enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, spending time with friends, walking my dogs, watching new shows, and reading.

I am curious about all kinds of subjects, and I will continue to experience and learn as much as I possibly can, both in science and in other areas. I am honored to be part of Phi Beta Kappa.
