Meredith J. Anding

  • Senior, English

I'm honored to have graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a B.A in English (Creative Writing Track), a double minor in Theatre and History, and as a Phi Beta Kappa member. I grew tremendously during my time at UWM, both personally and professionally, and enjoyed the process of expanding my skillsets and branching out collaboratively. I had the privilege of writing for the start-up film magazine, Reel Mamas Chicago, as a summer 2020 intern. Here, I was first introduced to the opportunities my major held for me outside the realm of fiction. Additionally, I loved my time spent working for UWM's Peck School of the Arts and my summers with American Players Theatre. I gained valuable skills, forged fulfilling connections, and wrote. A lot.

As I officially enter the professional world, I plan to maintain my hunger for knowledge and drive to improve. I see myself pursuing a professional degree. And of course, I'll continue to experiment with how I can apply my education and skillset to best achieve my personal and career goals.
