  • Senior, Biological Sciences major on a pre-med track

I am delighted to be honored with Phi Beta Kappa. I am a first-generation college student at UWM. I initially began with Criminal Justice major, but I switched to Pre-med Biological Science. I moved to the U.S. three years ago, right before college began. I did have difficulties adjusting to college in the U.S., but the professors and the instructors were very welcoming and happy to help whenever I needed it. I have been awarded with academic excellence thrice in my school and I have been on the Dean's list every semester here at UWM. Additionally, I am hoping to study cancer research at Medical College of Wisconsin in summer 2022, which will indeed be a great experience. I hope to maintain my academic excellence with my hard work in future.
