  • Senior, Biochemistry major with a Pre-Med track

Accepting the invitation to become a member of Phi Beta Kappa is a tremendous honor that reflects my dedication to academic excellence and intellectual curiosity. My time at UWM has been nothing short of amazing. As an Honors College pre-med student majoring in biochemistry and minoring in Biology, I have pursued rigorous coursework while preparing for medical school after my graduation next winter.
I am grateful for the mentorship of my professors, whose guidance has been instrumental in my academic journey. My research experience in Dr. Peng's lab studying triple-negative breast cancer has provided me with invaluable skills in scientific inquiry and a deeper understanding of cancer biology. This work has strengthened my analytical abilities and reinforced my passion for medical research and patient care.
I look forward to carrying the values of Phi Beta Kappa into my future career, combining scientific knowledge with compassionate care to make a meaningful impact in healthcare.
