It is a privilege to receive such a high honor, and to have my education goals come to fruition upon graduation. The Art History program has been incredibly insightful, impactful and invaluable to my higher education experience. I plan to work full time at my current styling job upon graduation. I will be planning to apply for museum internships and look into earning my master’s degree in Art History in the future. Ideally I would love to work in archives or do curatorial work for a museum in my Art History career. I want to thank my department professors for challenging nuances of art and the historical context in which they were created. I want to give thanks to Professor Richard Leson, for always encouraging my thoughts, discoveries and creating an extraordinary learning environment. I look forward to hopefully studying under you again in the future. Your teachings are invaluable, honorable and commendable. Thank you. Upon further reflection, I feel prepared and confident in my understanding of my field. I look forward to entering into a new era of art history and appreciation, and I have UWM to thank for that.

It has been such a pleasure to study at this university and to receive such a high honor. Thank you Phi Beta Kappa.
