Demond Stewart

About Demond

Demond currently serves in the role of senior advisor within the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Student Support Services program.  As a first-generation college graduate, Demond finds it gratifying to work with this population of students in his current capacity and enjoys working with all students. Demond is a person-centered advisor, who likes to get to know students as individual people first before focusing on their experience at UWM. Demond helps students to see the connections between their academic experience and future life plans. Demond is a resource agent for students and one of his ultimate goals is to assist students in the development of their interests, aptitudes, and values on their journey to graduation.
