Helaine Hickson

Helaine works behind the scenes strategizing, researching, distilling complex information and packaging it to help advance Chancellor Mark Mone’s influence with key stakeholders in support of UWM. A proud graduate of UWM's MBA program, Helaine started her career as a newspaper journalist and worked in media relations and communications management before focusing on executive communications. An enthusiastic runner, she leads the Chancellor’s Running Group and has completed 26 marathons, three 50-mile trail races and one 100-mile trail ultra.
