Improvisational Speaking: Strategies for Effective Impromptu Responses
Join Jennifer Kibicho, PhD, for a Hosted Brown Bag event and learn:
- five-step formula for successful impromptu speech
- eight strategies to successfully respond to an impromptu question
- practice the technique in a mini table-topic format
Jennifer Kibicho is an Associate Professor at UWM’s College of Nursing and Teaching Fellow at the Lubar Entrepreneurship Center. Outside of UWM, Jennifer is the District 35 Toastmasters Director covering Wisconsin and Upper Peninsular Michigan with nearly 90 clubs and 1,200 members. Since joining Toastmasters in 2014, Jennifer has developed competent communication and leadership skills and has earned a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM), the highest recognition award for Toastmasters International.
