During the 2022-23 academic year, the UWM Libraries completed its $2.8 million Archives renovation; received grants from Wisconsin Humanities and the Digital Public Library of America to further community engagement; joined a collaborative effort to support the exploration of the UWM Libraries’ Curriculum Collection by Milwaukee Public School educators; and loaned and shared hundreds of Distinctive Collections’ maps, photographs, books, and other materials to exhibitions and publications here and abroad.
