Join UWM’s Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies for a back-to-campus gathering to kick off the new academic year! In anticipation of our upcoming move to Curtin Hall in 2027 (date TBD, stay tuned!) we will be gathering in the language oasis on Curtin’s first floor.

Stop by to reconnect and meet new people as we settle into the routines of the academic year! Enjoy light snacks, learn about our center’s upcoming programs, and share your own updates with CLACS staff and other classmates and colleagues.

New this year: if you traveled to Latin America, the Caribbean, or otherwise enjoyed Latin American culture beyond campus in the past academic year, please share a photo with us to highlight on a rotating slide show!
