Congratulations to Sarah Davies Cordova, Professor of French and Francophone Studies, on the publication of Mère à Mère (Mémoire d’encrier, Canada: 2019; France: 2020) her translation of South African amaXhosa author, Sindiwe Magona’s Mother to Mother (1998).

Mère à Mère is short-listed for the 2020 Prix Pierre-François Caillé de la traduction, which is awarded by the Société française des traducteurs in collaboration with the École supérieure d’interprètes et de traducteurs (ESIT) at the Université Sorbonne nouvelle Paris 3.
