Administrator privileges may be granted to UWM users of University-owned computers on a per-request basis.

Users are required to submit a request to be granted administrator privileges. The request must include the following details:

  • Identifying information of the computer where administrator privileges are being requested.
  • Name(s) and UWM email address(es) of user(s) who require administrator privileges with their accounts.
  • Use case describing a valid technical requirement for administrator privileges to perform UWM business on the computer.

Terms of Administrator Privileges

Administrator Privileges shall not be used in a manner that violates or circumvents requirements of Information Security Policies and Procedures established by UWM or UW System.

Submit the Request Administrator Permissions form to request administrator privileges.
