Accessing LinkedIn Learning

Students

Students should access LinkedIn Learning through assignments in Canvas from their instructors or by this direct link to UWM’s LinkedIn Learning account.

Student Resources

Employees

Employees should access LinkedIn Learning through Workday Learning. Using Workday Learning, any courses taken in LinkedIn Learning will appear on your Workday Learning Transcript.

Please note: Courses you took prior to LinkedIn Learning moving to Workday will not appear in your Workday Learning Transcript. To maintain your learning history, follow the steps in the LinkedIn Learning Course History article.

Instructional Staff

To assign LinkedIn Learning content to your students, access LinkedIn Learning through Canvas as you normally would.

For your own professional development, access LinkedIn Learning through Workday Learning as described in the Employees section.

What if I am an employee and also enrolled as a student?

If you are employed by UWM and not an hourly student employee you can access LinkedIn Learning through Workday for your professional development. While you are completing coursework, you can access LinkedIn Learning through Canvas as assigned by your instructor.

What if I am an hourly student employee?

Hourly student employees will not have access to LinkedIn Learning through Workday. You can access LinkedIn Learning using Canvas as assigned by your instructors for coursework and you can access LinkedIn Learning directly for professional development.
