There are three WiFi networks at UWM, are you using the best one? WiFi networks typically automatically connect after setup, so use the information below to check that you are using the best option.
UWM Students & Employees – UWM WiFi
Login with your UWM credentials using these instructions. This is a secure network and is for long term use for UWM students and employees. If your sessions timeout or you have to re-login, check that you are connected to this network, and not UWM Visitor. Please use the instructions for forgetting a saved WiFi network to help you.
Visitors and Guests – UWM Visitor
This network is for those who are visiting campus and is intended for short term use.
Trying out eduroam
Eduroam is another secure WiFi option available to UWM students and employees.
If you connect to the encrypted eduroam WiFi at UWM, you will be able to automatically connect to WiFi at other participating universities and institutions. These instructions can help you learn more and get started with eduroam.
