The University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee is transitioning from JMP Pro to the new JMP Student Edition for all academic use, including on-campus machines. As part of this change, JMP now uses a user-based licensing model.
To use JMP Student Edition at UWM campus computer labs, each user must:
- Create a free JMP account with your UWM email on the JMP website.
- Sign in with that account to activate and use the software.
This change applies to computers in shared labs, offices and classrooms. The software will not function unless the user is signed in with their individual JMP credentials. After this one-time login, JMP will remain licensed and ready to use.
