29th Annual Melvin Lurie Memorial Prize

We were delighted to award the 29th student prize to Jenny Franke.  Jenny returned to graduate school as a working adult after finding herself increasingly attracted to human resource issues. Through networking at MHRLR she found her first HR job while still a student.  Although it required periods away from her husband and two daughters, she took at least one class a semester. Since 2015 Jenny has been an HR Director at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin – a position she was connected to though another UWM student – and this past spring Jenny graduated with her MHRLR degree.  Congratulations to Jenny for a job well done!
