Professor John Budd, University of Minnesota, won the Labor-Management Cooperation Prize. An expert in many aspects of industrial relations, John writes the textbook that many of our students use in their classes in industrial relations and collective bargaining. He has published widely including on topics of cooperation in the workplace. He presented a taxonomy of types of workplace relationships and spoke to the issue of where in that taxonomy cooperation works best, what it can accomplish and how to encourage it. Very interesting!
