2019 Labor-Management Cooperation Prize

On Monday in late September we again gathered at the Hefter Center for the 32nd annual Lurie Awards Ceremony. We welcomed the Lurie family, the Dean of Letters &Science, Scott Gronert, the new Dean of Lubar School of Business Kaushal Chari and the Provost Johannes Britz.

The 22nd Melvin Lurie Labor-management Cooperation Prize was presented to the Labor Management Council of Northeast Wisconsin. Started in 1965, it is the last remaining such council in Wisconsin. We applaud Director, Steve Kovalaske, and his crew for their continuing emphasis on providing a neutral forum in which to discuss topics of mutual interest and promote an understanding of each other’s concerns.  Here’s to a successful past and a fine future.
