Diagnostic Medical Imaging Program receives generous donation

The faculty, staff and students from Diagnostic Medical Imaging Program celebrated the acquisition of a brand new piece of equipment for the Sonography Program. A Parks Flo-Lab 2100 SX2 vascular lab system was generously donated by Loren Parks, the owner of Parks Medical Electronics, Inc.

The Parks Flo-Lab 2100 SX2 is a computerized vascular lab system that allows a sonographer to perform multiple types of arterial exams. It is known as an ABI
Machine because of the many Ankle Brachial Index studies performed on the equipment. This equipment is a strong selling point for the UWM Sonography program because of the high level of training our students will gain in the performance of these procedures. Clinical Assistant Professor and Clinical Coordinator Christine Grams BS, RDMS, RVT, RDCS, organized a reveal and demonstration for the college and other guests.
