Marshals
Marshals play a key role in making commencement run smoothly. They assist throughout the day with tasks such as:
- Helping students find their college’s seating
- Leading students to the stage for diploma cover presentations
- Reading names as graduates cross the stage
Other Volunteers
Volunteers create a positive experience for graduates and their guests. They assist before the ceremony on commencement day. Duties may include:
- Greeting guests and directing them to the correct entrances
- Answering questions from families
- Helping students fill out their name cards
- Supporting general event setup and logistics
