Exhibition: Art Works, Opening Reception

Emile H. Mathis Art Gallery, UWM Art Collection, and the Department of Art History, is pleased to inform you that Art Works, curated by academic curator Leigh Mahlik, will run in the Emile H. Mathis Art Gallery from September 18, 2023, to February 8, 2024. Art Works showcases the curatorial work, research, and learning that goes on in the Gallery and Collection in order to achieve our mission of supporting teaching and learning, research, and community engagement. The exhibition will also highlight the importance of philanthropy, as all of the works in the exhibition were acquired by donation.
The Gallery is open 10-4, Monday to Thursday during the semester. We’ll have extended hours during the opening from 5-7pm on September 14, 2023, and as part of UWM’s Gallery Night on September 21, 2023.
