The Letter of Offer is a contract between the Graduate Assistant and UWM. Prior to signing it, Graduate Assistants should carefully review their Letter of Offer and be sure that they understand its terms and conditions. For example, the Letter of Offer may include contingencies allowing the institution to terminate the appointment in certain instances. It is important that Graduate Students familiarize themselves with the contractual contingencies governing their appointment.
