About the “GIS Listserv
As part of a wider campus effort to clean up campus mailing lists, gis@uwm.edu is now a moderated, opt-in/opt-out mailing list for sharing information that is widely relevant to the UW-Milwaukee GIS community.
Anyone can post to the list by sending a message to gis@uwm.edu, but posting will be delayed by the moderation process.
We ask that you refrain from posting jobs on this list, consider posting your jobs at the State Cartographer’s Office Geospatial Jobs list. Job seekers should subscribe to their job alert e-mail to see local postings. For jobs outside of the scope of the SCO’s list, consider posting to departmental lists or contacting specific parties who may be interested.
The gis-jobs@uwm.edu list has been retired.
Instructors should encourage their students to join the list to keep up to date with topics such as GIS Council meetings, GIS news on campus, information on GIS Day events, updates about our ESRI Site License, and more!
