In this interactive lecture you will learn more about Milwaukee‘s rich German heritage and the many ways in which Germany and Wisconsin are still connected today. We‘ll discuss the brats and the beer, but also Milwaukee institutions like Turner Hall and the Pabst Theater, architecture, politics, language, and business (Haribo, Aldi, Trader Joe’s…). Please join us to learn more about this fascinating history. We’ll also have plenty of time for your questions, and you will get to know us — the UWM German Program!
