UWM Thomas A. Greene Museum receives international designation

This designation is given to museum collections that have “high scientific, historical and/or educational relevance for geological sciences” that are worthy of preservation and provide original source research. The designation was bestowed based on the recommendations of more than 700 experts from 80 nations.

The Greene collection is the only one in the United States with this gold standard mark of excellence at this time.
