Have you ever considered studying geology ore been curious to learn what geologists do? Stop by the UW-Milwaukee Geosciences Department Fall Welcome and Meet & Greet on Thursday, September 13th and you shale find out!
The Greene Geological Gallery (Lapham 168) will be open between 3:30pm – 5:00pm. Feel free to drop in at any time during the event to learn about our undergraduate program, what doors a degree in geology can open for you, and why geologists rock!
An informal informational presentation about our faculty, research, career opportunities in Geosciences, Geology Club, and department events will be given at ~4:15pm by Rob Graziano.
Current Geosciences undergraduate students and any undergraduates who might consider a major or minor in Geosciences are encouraged to attend. You’ll have the opportunity to hang out with fellow students who share your interests, and meet faculty and staff members who can help advise and inspire you.
Pizza will be served.
