With this animated autobiographical documentary triggered by the death in exile of his Iraqi revolutionary father, French-born journalist Feurat Alani narrates his life-long journey to understanding his parents’ ruined homeland. Looking back on his childhood visits, he reveals his intimate relationship with Iraq marked by the country’s dictatorship and the US-led invasion.
