In this dystopian environmental tale, a pandemic of genetic mutations causes gradual animal-like hybridization in certain human beings. When Lana is contaminated by this mysterious ailment, her husband François and their 16-year-old son Emile set out on a journey to save her and are themselves transformed in the process.
