Russian Program

The Department of Foreign Languages and Literature offers up to ten semesters of instruction in Russian language, as well as a host of courses on Russian literature and culture taught in English and/or Russian. Credits are available for UWM’s summer study abroad program in Saratov, Russia.

After submitting your request to declare a major, you are encouraged to contact Joe Peschio (Program Coordinator) to ask any questions you may have about the Russian program and to begin the process of exploring career paths, outlining a course of study, discussing study abroad and funding opportunities, and planning other activities within the major.
