UW-Milwaukee International Student Admission: Full admission with an EAP hold is for international students admitted to an undergraduate academic degree program at UWM. Students with this admission status must complete required English for Academic Purposes (EAP) coursework over one, two, or three semesters. EAP course placement is based on TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo scores.
- A student with an EAP requirement cannot take more than 16 credits a semester. Once they have completed their required EAP classes, the credit restriction is released.
- All EAP courses carry credit towards an undergraduate degree.
- Students must receive a C or higher to pass an EAP class.
