Artist Note:
Yohji Yamamoto (revisited) Triptych II is an attempt to understand words through their pattern, fabric-like nature, detached from initial language. Dedicated to legendary couturier, this set of pieces tries to break away, lose all the feelings, get away from sense and become a texture in itself. It gets assimilated with a black wool coat it’s attached to via pins, tape and red threads. It is beyond the realm of poetry. It is a pure feeling for there are no more connections to the previous feelings. No context gives birth to new possibilities. New perception of thought is born.
