Vaccination Incentive Program

It’s Worth a Shot!

Get vaccinated, send in the proof and you are entered to win one of over 100 prizes!

(And by sharing proof of your vaccination, you won’t be required to test weekly.)

Weekly drawings

Don’t miss your chance to win a MacBook Air laptop, Brewers tickets and autographed baseball, UWM men’s basketball courtside tickets, Summerfest day pass, Milwaukee Art Museum membership, Student Union gift card and BelAir Cantina gift card! Weekly drawings start Aug. 26. And you have a chance to snag UWM merch just for showing up to get your first or second dose!

Did you know? Not only do you have a shot at winning a prize, receiving the COVID-19 vaccine is our ticket to getting back to normal.

  • No testing: Fully vaccinated students are exempted from required asymptomatic testing.
  • No quarantine: Fully vaccinated students who are exposed to COVID-19 don’t need to quarantine, as long as they don’t develop symptoms and don’t test positive for COVID-19.
  • Stay healthy: The vaccine helps prepare your immune system to fight the virus if you’re exposed.

Get your vaccination

Students may schedule an appointment for vaccination on Thursdays at the Norris Health Center on the main campus. Call 414-229-4716.

Students who are Milwaukee residents are eligible to receive a $100 gift card if they get their first dose at either Milwaukee Health Department clinic: Northwest Health Center, 7630 W. Mill Road, or the Southside Health Center, 1639 S. 23rd St. Go to the Milwaukee Health Department COVID-19 page for more details.

To find a vaccination location in your community, go to vaccines.gov. All COVID-19 vaccines are free.

And if you got your first COVID-19 vaccination between Aug. 20 and Sept. 19, the state of Wisconsin will give you $100! Reward requests must be submitted by Sept. 30. Call (877) 947-2211 with questions.

UW System 70-for-70 Program

By sharing proof of your vaccination with UWM, you’re also helping UWM reach a goal of a 70% vaccination rate among enrolled students. If our campuses reach that threshold, UWM students will have a chance to win one of 70 scholarships worth $7,000!

Check out the 70-for-70 Program for more details.
