2.7.25 | Symposium on Refugees and Asylum Seekers From Afghanistan in Milwaukee

The August 15, 2021 Taliban takeover of Afghanistan forced the displacement of millions internally, in the region, and across the globe. Join us for a symposium exploring the impact of those who were resettled in the Milwaukee area on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 8:30am to 1:30pm in the UWM Student Union Ballroom West. We will hear from Afghan community members about their migration experiences, as well as enjoy some cultural programming and food.
