Freshwater Collaborative Water Policy Network: Wisconsin’s Green Fire: Mapping Potential Impacts on WI Wetlands Post-Sackett

The Center for Water Policy hosted a UW System Water Policy Network meeting on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom with Wisconsin Green Fire to discuss mapping the potential impacts of WI wetlands post-Sackett. There were two speakers discussing the mapping efforts: Michael Cain, Co-Chair of the Public Trust/Wetlands Working Group for WI Green Fire, and Tom Bernthal, a wetland ecologist and member of Green Fire’s Public Trust and Wetlands work group.

Members of the Freshwater Collaborative Policy Network  build relationships that lead to idea sharing, collaborating on research proposals, and developing water policy curricula for use across the UW System.
