Type of create/combine request?*

A master course is used as the staging grounds for future courses. Students cannot be enrolled into a master course.
A blank course is a sandbox space for testing and experimentation. Students cannot be enrolled into a blank course.
Combining course sections combines the students from 2 or more sections of a course into one space in Canvas. Students from each section will share content, grade structure, groups and assignments.

Type of non-credit course to request?*

A Training & Development course is used for institutional/departmental training, professional development, and workshop style courses for a mix of students and staff.
A Pre/Post Education course facilitates academic activities related to pre-college, Continuing Education, non-credit certificate and other similar activities.
A Supplemental Academic courses facilitate student academic activities but are non-credit bearing. These courses can be used for a single semester or multiple semesters and might be used for ePortfolio, capstones, and practicums.

UWM policy prohibits the use of this process to add students completing independent study work, or students being enrolled in a for-credit course.

It is not necessary to submit this request to add students to a Supplemental course, a Continuing Education course, or a Training and Development course.

This request can not be used to add students to a master course, or a blank course.
