Interests & Expertise
Prior to Erik joining the School of Biomedical Sciences and Health Care Administration he taught full time as full-time faculty at Concordia University Wisconsin where he was an Associate Professor teaching Business and Healthcare courses at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels. He has served as a Dissertation Chair, advisor, Department Chair and as a member of the Faculty Senate.
Erik has worked in a number of industries but most recently before Higher Education he worked in Oncology in a variety of roles (including Leadership) that spanned time with a small private practice, Nations Largest National non-profit in Healthcare, and a large, complex Healthcare System. He is also worked as a consultant working with clients in a variety of fields including Higher Education, K-12 Education, Healthcare, Government, Manufacturing and Small Business.
His research interests are at the intersection of where Healthcare collides with Business and Early Mathematical Interventions supporting traditional Undergraduate students in Secondary Education.
