John Brill, MD, MPH, is the Vice President for Population Health Sciences & Research, Advocate Health Midwest.  After receiving his MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin, he completed a family medicine residency at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, followed by a Faculty Development fellowship.  He served on the faculty of the Aurora Medical Education group, receiving teaching awards from the local prolgrams, the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine, and the American Academy of Family Physicians, who honored him as the national Faculty of the Year in 2017.

He helped launch the UWSMPH Training In Urban Medicine & Public Health (TRIUMPH) program, the Wisconsin Academy of Rural Medicine’s Green Bay site, the Aurora Family Medicine Rural Training Track and the Aurora Campus for Des Moines University. For the last decade Dr. Brill has worked in the Population Health field, helping to improve care for all patients in the Advocate Midwest footprint.  He passionately believes that Value Based Care is the most feasible path toward achieving health equity in the United States.
