Zachary Stencil, M.S. has over 10 years of experience working with cultural resource management projects and archaeological collections with a specialty in faunal analysis. Currently he holds the position of Project Manager for UWM-CRM, working with the transportation, energy, development, and utility industries to provide cultural resource project oversite and compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) as well as state-level burial site compliance in Wisconsin. Mr. Stencil has supervised Phase I and II archaeological investigations throughout Wisconsin; as well as Minnesota, North Dakota, Illinois, Texas, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky.

He holds a Master’s degree in Anthropology and a GIS Graduate Certificate from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a focus in Great Lakes Archaeology and Zooarchaeology. Mr. Stencil is registered with the Wisconsin Historical Society as an archaeologist qualified to work within the boundaries of human burial sites and to excavate human remains
