Strategies for Ensuring Accessibility in Canvas

This training will review concepts and tools in Canvas for making curriculum accessible and will provide hands-on activities to apply what you learn in your own Canvas course sites. Participants will walk away with:
- Better understanding of how students with disabilities interact with course content in Canvas.
- Knowledge about accessibility features and uses in Canvas.
- Experience with strategies to incorporate when creating accessible content in Word documents, Power Point presentations, or PDFs to be uploaded and published in Canvas.
- Knowledge on how to utilize accessibility checkers in Canvas.
