Overview

Real-world Application is one of the High Impact Eight Quality Elements to leverage student learning and success. This session provides an overview and UWM examples of embedding real-world application in several course locations. Participants will have options to use the HIPs Assignment Builder, HIPs Group Assignment Guide, HIPs Low Stakes Guide, and other tools to efficiently jump start embedding HIPs real-world application into your course.

Please bring an assignment or an activity that you are considering for the Fall or want to modify from the Spring semester. If you have real-world HIPs already embedded, bring your examples!
