Overview

Using HIPs Element language in your online or F2F course outcomes is a great way to embed the High Impact Practice Elements in your course.  As you create outcomes for your course activities, assessments, and assignments, you can align them with your course outcomes to foreshadow the HIPs Elements that will be embedded in your course. This is an excellent way to make HIPs visible to students and colleagues in your program, increasing transparency, scalability, and greater sustainability.  A brief HIPs recap is provided. Don’t skip this crucial starting point for scaling HIPs in your courses and curricula. Please have access to your course, an assignment, or activity.
