Overview

Real-world Application is one of the High Impact Eight Quality Elements to leverage student learning and success. This session provides an overview and UWM examples of embedding real-world application in several course locations, followed by time to begin embedding real-world application into your course. Participants will have options to use the HIPs Assignment Builder, HIPs Group Assignment Guide, HIPs Low Stakes Guide, and other tools to efficiently jump start embedding HIPs real-world application into your course.

Please bring or have access to your course, an assignment, or activity for the hands-on portion. If you have real-world HIPs already embedded, bring your examples!
