High-Level Performance Expectations

This is a face-to-face workshop only. These concepts are applicable to any course format and type!

Our courses are the one place all students have the opportunity to experience the Eight Key Elements of High Impact Practices. These eight elements are what will leverage the “high impact” that increases achievement, graduation, retention, and learning. In this first session we will introduce tools and practices designed to help set and efficiently scale the use of high-level performance expectations for students across courses and curricula. To increase the sustainability of this practice, we will introduce several strategies to maintain high-level performance expectations for students over time, changing TAs, adjunct and new instructors, GER courses, across multiple multiple sections, and throughout your curriculum in both online and face-to-face courses. 

Please register and encourage colleagues from your unit or department to attend. Participants will be encouraged to share their successful and challenging course applications and in a Canvas Discussion between meetings.
