Suzanne Leonard

Suzanne Leonard has published her new book titled, “A Feminist Guide to Marriage.” Part crash course in feminism, part social guide, part memoir, and part manifesto, “A Feminist Guide to Marriage” (Goldsmiths, November 10, 2026) is for couples who want to know marriage better and do marriage better. Leonard is a Professor of Race, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Simmons University in Boston. Author of multiple books including “Wife, Inc: The Business of Marriage in the Twenty-First Century,” as well as co-editor of the award-winning anthology, “Imagining ‘We’ in the Age of ‘I’: Romance and Social Bonding in Contemporary Culture,” Leonard specializes in the intersections of feminism and popular culture.
