Leonela Alejandro

Puerto Rican guitarist and UWM alumna Leonela Alejandro made her Carnegie Hall debut in April as part of the winner’s tour for the Guitar Foundation of America—widely considered the most prestigious classical guitar competition in the world. She has earned numerous honors, including the foundation’s 2024 Rose Augustine Grand Prize. Known for her powerful, energetic performance style, Leonela is currently performing and teaching across the United States and Canada.
