Felice Green

Felice Green received the 2025 Impact Awardee from the UWM Alumni Association. The award was presented during the Alumni Awards Evening on February 21, 2025, at The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.

Felice has used her communication expertise and passion for community service to improve the quality of life for Milwaukee residents for more than three decades. From voter registration to environmental initiatives, she is one of Milwaukee’s leading civic champions. Over her distinguished career in the nonprofit sector, Felice has served as communications director for Wisconsin Voices and School Choice Wisconsin, marketing manager for Vivent Health (formerly the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin), civic engagement coordinator for Milwaukee Riverkeeper and director of marketing and public relations for Interfaith Older Adult Programs. She serves on the boards of the Dominican Center, Sherman Park Community Association, Sherman Park Community Tree Board and Milwaukee Scholars Charter School. Her many awards include the 2024 Unity Award from Milwaukee Magazine, a Positively Milwaukee Environmental Hero Award from TMJ4, the 2023 African American Environmental Pioneer Award from Nearby Nature Milwaukee, 2021 Women’s History Month Award and 2020 Black Excellence Award for Volunteerism from the Milwaukee Times Weekly Newspaper — and mayoral and gubernatorial proclamations recognizing her community service and environmental advocacy.
