Divyanshu Verma

After graduating from UWM, I started my own quantitative hedge fund and launched the firm at an investor summit at the United States Congress on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.

After almost a year, I am proud to share that I founded Verma Research Capital, VRC, a Wisconsin registered quantitative hedge fund based in Milwaukee. VRC grew out of a conviction I formed at UW Milwaukee: that durable investing comes from process integrity, not performance marketing. The firm runs a dual sleeve strategy, combining a systematic quantitative trading book with a concentrated, long term value equity portfolio, so disciplined near term trading and patient compounding can work side by side rather than against each other.

Since launch, we have raised $4.3 million in committed capital and founded the Quantitative Research Program, bringing students into real quantitative research.
