Chris King

Chris King was inspired by his nurse parents and desired to serve in the military. He joined the Wisconsin Air National Guard in 2016 while studying nursing at UWM. As a staff sergeant and F-16 Crew Chief with the 115th Fighter Wing, he maintained fighter jets and deployed to Afghanistan in 2019, where he also volunteered in a combat hospital. After six years, King transitioned to nursing and is now caring for patients with severe heart conditions in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Froedtert Hospital.
