We are heading into year 2 of the 2030 Action Plan! Here’s a snapshot of activities by the teams this past month. The Becoming Student Centric and Moonshot for Equity team continues to work on a wide-range of activities in support of the Student Success Framework: Commitment to an Inclusive & Supportive Panther Community (Support U, Student Health & Wellness Center, MPS/MATC/UWM Collaboration); Commitment to Student’s Academic Journey (Hold Reform, UWS Automatic Admission exploration; Tech Ed Frontiers, Pathways: Stackable credentials); Commitment to Students Personal Growth and Financial Security (Student Financial Services Center, SET). The Revising Curriculum team has finalized their proposal and is beginning to solicit campus-wide feedback through a series of presentations. The Redesigning the Research Infrastructure team is finalizing their recommendations for research infrastructure and the faculty workload. The Aligning and Engaging Workforce team continues to develop strategies for organizational success and have presented their ideas to governance and leadership groups. The Reassessing Unit Alignment team continues to work on transitioning. The DEI Team has prepared tools/resources to be accessible for units via the 2030 and DEI websites. The Budget Model team is focused on the school/College Realignment. Finally, University Advancement (Growing the Endowment) has undergone a strategic re-organization.
